The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs that communicate the institution's message and brand effectively. This role involves collaborating with the marketing and communication teams to produce various materials for print and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Creation: Develop visually compelling designs for various mediums including brochures, flyers, banners, digital ads, social media graphics, presentations, etc., adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and communication teams to understand project requirements, conceptualize ideas, and translate them into design solutions.
  • Creative Development: Generate innovative and creative concepts while considering the institution's objectives and target audience.
  • Visual Branding: Ensure consistency in design elements, colors, fonts, and brand guidelines across all materials produced.
  • Adaptability: Modify and adapt designs based on feedback and changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create high-quality graphics.
  • Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within specified timelines.
Requirements
Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in graphic design. A portfolio demonstrating a range of creative work.
Technical Skills

  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), CorelDRAW, and other relevant graphic design software.
  • Web Design: Familiarity with web design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).
  • Typography: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Digital and Print: Experience designing for both digital and print media.
Creative and Conceptual Skills

  • Creativity: Strong creative skills and the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
