Description
As Malaysians, we all know this famous drink! Teh Tarik!!!
It's a tea mix with condensed milk, which gives us a sweet but delicious taste.
I still remember when I was a child. Every time my father ordered this Teh Tarik drink, he would always put some of it on my spoon for the drink to cool down and let me drink it.
Other than that, my most memorable memory is how this drink was made. The uncle who makes it will mix the drink in one cup and then take another cup to begin the show. The unique style of mixing the tea is pulled tea. Pulled tea is a method of making the foamy drink. It involves skillfully pouring and pulling long streams of freshly brewed tea between two steel mugs.
How nostalgic I feel from this drink every time I order it, especially at Mamak Restaurant.
As a Malaysian, I really like to recommend this to my international friends. I hope that with my design, we all can remember the unforgettable memories of childhood.
