Description
Since the drawing will be printed on the 2023 calendar, it is great to take this opportunity to celebrate the 29th anniversary of Cheras LeisureMall. It has been 29 years and still counting since the establishment of Cheras LeisureMall in 1994. The drawing depicts a cheerful seaworld-inspired environment with the use of bright and vibrant colours. It shows a birthday celebration of the mall complete with cake, gifts, balloons, singing and happy expressions on all of the characters’ faces.
It is a bustling and must-visit shopping mall in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur with a variety of retail stores, restaurants & cinema. About 20 years ago, Cheras LeisureMall was the first multiplex in Malaysia to have an indoor roller coaster ride zipping in and out of the building. It is so nostalgic that I can’t resist including the roller coaster and bumper car in the drawing but this time with a seaworld theme. Relishing the good old memories even though it has been removed.
Besides, as a tribute to the annual "Toy Bank, A Gift of Love" initiative, I have also involved gift elements into the drawing.This is due to my personal opinion that it is a very good initiative in showing our love and brightening the life of those in need. Despite throwing unused items, it is way much better to donate it to the needy as it helps to prevent wastage and reduce waste.
