Della's JGDC Logo Design #3

This logo is designed geometrically, whereas the elements are basically made up of circles and rectangles. The reason to this is to showcase how graphic design utilizes existing elements to simplify information, which in this case, is through shapes.

The letterforms in the logo are placed around a small purple dot in the middle, representing junior graphic designers coming together in a community or platform. Meanwhile, the spaces around the letterforms allow the dot to move around, alias to be shared. Hence, the dot represents two things, the community and the idea/insight that are shared by and to the junior graphic designers. 

Lastly, the logo has only two colors, namely purple and black. Considering JGDC will be a part of Artmeet itself, reusing the exact purple color will help people in recognizing this. Hence, in this case, the purple is used to emphasize the dot in the centre of the logo, representing the platform. As for the color black, it shall give a more professional and versatile look to the logo.
