Responsibilities
- To create clothing lines for the retail brand.
- Design, sourcing, plan and develop merchandise for every season.
- Involve mainly in design development work.
- Research seasonal fashion trend, style, fabrication & colour theme.
- Prepare drawings and technical sheet for production.
- Perform season review for merchandise development.
- Check and ensure the finishing quality and fitting measurements for all new samples are according to the specs before proceeding for mass productions.
- Preparation of supportive documents and samples for seasonal presentation and photoshoot.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may assign by the management from time to time as when necessary.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least professional certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Textile/ Fashion/ Graphic Design/ Fashion Merchandising or equivalent.
- At least 1 years(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledge of fabric/garment cutting is an advantage.
- Proficient in Adobe Adobe Illustration, Adobe Photoshop or other designing software and Microsoft Office software.
- Familiar with ladies fashion and Muslim fashion.
- Energetic and creative with strong fashion sense.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
