Sempah Glamping Rebranding
Description
Sempah T-Farm is a company originally owned by Canton Recipes. In the first stage of their business, they only focus on private dining because they originated from a restaurant called Canton Recipes.
Then, the owner received feedback from their customers saying that it will be relaxing and refreshing when if they can stay in Sempah T-Farm. Thus, Sempah T-Farm started camping services because they listened to their customers’ feedback saying that they feel relaxed when having a meal on the farm. Besides, their customers are also willing to experience life on the farm.
To attract more customers, Sempah T-Farm has introduced many different activities, such as farm exploration, river walking, jungle trekking and more. This also makes their customers willing to stay longer on the farm by providing entertainment.
Now, they plan to have a new service called glamping which will be introduced to the market soon. For your information, Sempah T-Farm was established in 2018 by Mr Chin Hon Tong, Chef Ki Hong and Mr Tim Loo. Meanwhile, the term “T-Farm” is derived from the Chinese word “梯“ and “田” which means “ladder” and “farm”. It is the way how watercress is being grown.
With this information, I rebrand the logo for the company with the concept of a bold lifestyle. This is because a bold lifestyle means a positive and adventurous lifestyle. It is significant to their target audience who are willing to experience a rural lifestyle to regain positivity.
As you can see in the photo, I rebrand the logo in bold to suggest the concept. I also used the Chinese character "森芭" because I want to remain that they have used Chinese characters in their old logo. At the same time, I also mix the Chinese character with some elements of farm and tent in the logo. The logo can be understood as the tent is on the farm which can show the feeling of Sempah Glamping which offers glamping on the farm.
