In 2014, I started my career as a Media Executive at a humanitarian NGO driven by my passion to help others. Working alongside like-minded individuals, I had the opportunity to expand my skills and face various challenges in the field, such as working with low-quality imagery, entry-level DSLRs, and a small but dedicated media team of 1-2 persons.

Despite the demands of serving a good number of sizable requests from the chairman and various activists, I learned to deal with the pressure and keep my focus. I advised team members on how to meet expectations while minimizing costs and provided insight when the visual direction of a project was unclear.

In addition, I gained hands-on experience in computer hardware. Once, I advised the company to fix a faulty workstation computer instead of purchasing a new one for a fraction of the cost, saving up to RM4,000. These computer tech skills have now become second nature to me, and they have certainly helped improve the workflow around the office.
